Chapter 10. Neptune in Your Chart

Neptune represents fads, impressionability, style, glamour, imagination and inspiration. Neptune, Poseidon, "The Artful Creator" also represents your charisma, creativity, and your spiritual life. Neptune is a symbol of your immune system, parts of your aura and subtle body.

Neptune is the force of deep space and the force of consciousness expansion. Neptune can be spirits in a bottle of one sort or another, the communion of the saints, and a great shroud of fog in between. Neptune describes where and how you yield, suffer, escape and waver. It also describes where you are confused and self-deluded.

When it comes to home, family and country you're part of a generation that tends to be idealistic. Your religious beliefs are sentimental. When it comes to the domestic situation, your generation has a bit of a blind spot. It would be helpful if you took off your rose colored glasses and made a conscious effort to become more realistic about your domestic situation. If your very foundation seems uncertain, take another look at what makes you feel secure.

TIPS: It would be a wise for you to create some sort of a spiritual place in your home. Perhaps you should consider a meditation room or an altar or even a chapel. Perhaps you need to bring more obvious manifestations of the water element into your home. Give new thought to a swimming pool, hot tub, fountain, aquarium or even a urinal or bidet. You may even wish to move close to the water. Once you search your soul you will find that you can especially sanctify yourself by sanctifying your domestic environment. Write down the affirmation, "Wherever I am, I'm safe and feel right at home." 7 times a day for seven weeks. For at least 5 minutes a day for 5 weeks focus your mind exclusively on the meanings of "tradition".

It is important that you have some "artistic" content to your career. Do something with music, film and theater. It is very possible for the public to perceive you as a highly charismatic and creative person. You look good by the beach, on a boat, in a pool and any place wet.
