Extract MoonPhase.zip to your Documents folder (or where you please).
Run the Matrix_ks.exe program to install the screen saver facility.
Right-click on the desktop and select Properties.
Select the "Screen Saver" tab.
Select "Matrix_ks" from the drop-down list and click the "Settings" button.
On the MATRIX dialog select the "Web Window" tab.
Check-mark the "Display web window" box.
Click on the "..." button and locate "MoonPhase.htm" in the folder
to where you extracted the zip file
(hint: select "All Files" in the "Files of type" drop-down list).
Notes on alternate variations:
"MoonPhase.htm" — dark blue background with picture of the moon.
"MoonPhase.htm?d" — dark blue background with a disk for the moon.
"MoonPhaseBlue.htm" — blue background with picture of the moon.
"MoonPhaseBlue.htm?d" — blue background with a disk for the moon.
Enter web window dimensions:
- Horizontal position of the window: 10
- Vertical position of the window: 10
- Web window width: 800
- Web window height: 600
Click the "Save" button" and click the "Preview" button.
Use the "Esc" key to exit the preview.
Adjust the web window dimensions appropriately for your screen size.
For my wide-screen laptop with its 1280 x 800 size, I use:
- Horizontal position of the window: 130
- Vertical position of the window: 32
- Web window width: 1024
- Web window height: 768
