Why is this daily horoscope style different from other horoscopes I have
read?
Traditionally, "horoscope" is the word for a birth chart. It is a diagram of the
relative positions of the planets and signs of the zodiac at a particular time
and place, and is used by astrologers to provide interpretations of personality
characteristics and predictions. The word "horoscope" also refers to a daily astrology
reading.
Most newspaper-style daily horoscopes are based on some aspect of the day's planetary positions relative to each of the twelve sunsigns. In our Sunsign Horoscopes, we provide specific interpretations for each of the planets currently aspecting each sunsign. In our Personal Daily Horoscopes, we expand this to include AdZe's intepretations of each planetary aspect relative to all the planets in your personal birth chart. The information is more complete and precise, and is enhanced by the inclusion of location information. For a mini-interpretation of your birth chart, click here your free Personal StarBio. What is a transit?
A transit is the passage of the Sun, Moon and planets through the signs of the
zodiac relative to the positions of planets in the natal horoscope. It also
refers to the movement of the planets through the houses of the natal horoscope.

What is an aspect?
An aspect is the geometrical relationship between planets in a birth chart, or
between transiting planets and natal planets. It refers to the number of degrees
between them, measuring around the circumference of the birth chart. Each aspect
indicates tendencies toward harmony or discord, ease or challenge in a horoscope.

Which aspects are included in my Sunsign / Personal Daily Horoscope transits?
Your Sunsign Horoscope covers the aspects of conjunction (same degree or
close), semi-sextile (30°), sextile (60°), square (90°), trine (120°),
quincunx (150°) and opposition (180°) that the transiting planets make
to the sun sign.
Your Personal Daily Horoscope covers the aspects of conjunction (same degree or close), sextile (60°), square (90°), trine (120°) and opposition (180°) that the transiting planets make to each of the natal planets. Which are the inner and the outer planets, and why do you distinguish between
them?
The inner planets are literally the Sun and the planets closest to it. These are
the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus. These planets revolve around the Sun in
smaller orbits, and therefore more quickly, than the outer planets. Generally, their
aspects change more quickly in your horoscope although, at times, some may go "retrograde" --
that is, appear to slow down or go backwards. Moon aspects change most rapidly.
The inner planets are considered personal planets.
The outer planets are Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn and Pluto. These are the slower moving planets whose influences can persist for much longer. Their lingering influences tend to create background themes in your life. The outer planets are considered generational planets. TIP: Think of the inner planets as being in our neighborhood while the outer planets are in another country far away. The distance differences are that immense.

What are the houses of a chart? Which house system do you use?
The houses were created by early astrologers to divide space, just as a way to tell
generally where a planet was. Later, meaning was given to each of the twelve
divisions.
Different approaches are taken in measuring house division. The most commonly used house systems in this country are Koch, Placidus, and the Equal House system. While there is no definitive system, an astrologer tends to develop a preference for one or another house system over time. Some astrologers use no houses at all! TIP: In our free and paid reports, we provide you the option to pick among Koch, Placidus, Equal, Meridian, Porphyry, Campanus and Topocentric. Our default is Koch because this was AdZe's preference. If this is a daily horoscope, why does my reading include the same information
for several days?
The interpretation of each aspect will persist in your horoscope as long as the
transiting planet continues to form that aspect to your chart, and will change as the
planetary position changes. This allows you to track precisely when these influences come
and go, whether they are short term or pervasive, and whether the overall reading is
favorable, cautionary, or a mix. When there is little activity in your sign, you can be
most effective at setting your own tone.
TIP: The longer an aspect persists, the more powerful and long-lasting are its effects.
| |
I got the same reading in my horoscope awhile ago. Why is it repeating?
The interpretation of each aspect repeats each time the aspect it refers to repeats.
TIP: This enables you to become familiar with the feeling-tone of the various planetary influences. You'll probably experience this when a planet goes direct after having been retrograde. Also note that the moon travels through the zodiac monthly, so moon transits will repeat monthly. Furthermore, aspects like sextile, square and trine will repeat as the transiting planet travels to either side of your natal planet.
| |
If this is a Personal Daily Horoscope, why is my reading so much like my friend's
(spouse's, sibling's, co-worker's, etc.)?
If a transiting planet is forming the same aspects to your friend's chart as
it is to your chart, you will both be experiencing the same astrological
influence. If your birthdays are close together, this may happen frequently,
especially with the outer planets. Even if you do not share the same sunsign, you
may have other significant planets in common. (Keep in mind that a sunsign
horoscope gives the exact same interpretation to everyone who shares your
sunsign.)
| |
What do the little symbols in my Personal Daily Horoscope mean?
The first symbol, or glyph, is for the transiting planet. The second symbol is
the aspect it is forming. The third symbol is for the planet in your
birth chart being aspected.

Who is AdZe MiXXe (and how do you pronounce his name)?
AdZe MiXXe (ADD-zee MIX-zee) was an extraordinarily talented and
inspirational astrologer who brought unequalled insight and flair to his astrological
interpretations. AdZe loved the Internet, and foresaw its explosive growth. He
and his partner, MOTTASIA, launched his
website in the fall of 1995. It was the perfect venue for his prolific writings,
and he prepared top-notch work for this media before his early death on July 2,
1997.
AdZe MiXXe was the embodiment of charisma. With his dynamic personality, his brilliant mind, and his outrageous sense of humor, he was a powerfully engaging presence. He was a regular talk show guest on one of Philadelphia's leading radio stations, where he often astonished listeners with his uncanny psychic abilities, and for many years wrote the monthly astrology column for Philadelphia magazine. When he wasn't inspiring his listeners, readers and private clients to more fulfilling lives, he was walking the streets of his hometown calling forth the elements -- or keeping them at bay. He was simultaneously a cutting edge astrologer and a great entertainer. More information about AdZe MiXXe

Who writes your horoscopes, celebrity reports and personal astrology reports?
Thanks to the magic of computers, it is the words of AdZe MiXXe, Astrologer
Extraordinaire and Cosmic Wizard himself, that are still greeting and guiding his
visitors here each day when they check in for their daily horoscopes.
AdZe also created the benchmark for online astrology reports before his death, and they are still available to inspire new seekers. He authored all the reports we offer here at the original AdZe MiXXe website. We look forward to adding new reports in the future from AdZe's archives. A lesser-known fact is that some of his reports are also for sale at other prominent astrology websites under different names. AdZe's SuperPower Report, his natal birth chart reading, is variously known as Astro Insight or Self-Empowerment Guide, or In-Depth Personality Profile. His compatibility report, AdZe's Venus Files, is also available as Love, Honor and Cherish and Soulmate Insight Report. Great LifeStyle Planner, his transit report, may be called Future Trends or Positive Planning Forecast Report or Monthly Outlook. AdZe's comprehensive birth chart reading, The Story of Your Life is only available as a printed report, and is only available here. The Celebrity StarBios and Personal StarBios are our popular, free sample-sized SuperPower Reports. TIP: To order AdZe's reports or try a free sample, visit AdZe's Scopes Mart.
