How far does the Togg T10X really go on a single charge, and how much of that range do you lose in winter or on the motorway? Depending on the battery you choose, the T10X's WLTP range sits between roughly 314 km and 523 km. In everyday driving, you can expect 70–95% of that figure, depending on speed, temperature and driving style. This guide covers the official numbers, what to expect in real-world use, charging times and, based on current charging prices in Turkey, what 100 km actually costs.

T10X range by version: how far does each one go?

The T10X comes with two battery options: Standard Range (about 52.4 kWh) and Long Range (about 88.5 kWh). Range mainly depends on the battery, the drivetrain (rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive) and wheel size.

VersionBattery (approx.)DrivetrainPower (approx.)WLTP range (approx.)
V1 RWD Standard Range52.4 kWhRear-wheel drive160 kW (218 PS)314 km
V1 / V2 RWD Long Range88.5 kWhRear-wheel drive160 kW (218 PS)523 km
V2 4MATIC Long Range88.5 kWhAll-wheel drive320 kW (435 PS)~468 km

Figures are based on WLTP data published by Togg. They may vary slightly with trim level, wheel size and model-year updates. Check the current price list before you buy.

The takeaway: the rear-wheel-drive Long Range has the longest range of any T10X. On the all-wheel-drive version, the second electric motor adds performance but costs around 50 km of range from the same battery. The Standard Range is built for city driving and shorter trips. On long journeys, you'll need to stop to charge more often.

WLTP vs real-world range

WLTP is a lab test run with set speed profiles at about 23 °C. It combines city, suburban and motorway sections, but the average speed is low. As a result, real-world range shifts with the conditions below.

City driving: close to WLTP, sometimes better

In stop-and-go traffic, regenerative braking lets EVs recover part of their energy. On a mild day in town, at an average of 30–50 km/h, a T10X Long Range can match or even beat its WLTP figure. That's the exact opposite of a combustion car.

Motorway: range drops fast as speed rises

Aerodynamic drag rises with the square of speed, and because the T10X is a tall, wide SUV, the effect is more noticeable. Rough expectations:

  • Steady 90–100 km/h: about 85–90% of WLTP
  • Steady 120 km/h: about 70–75% of WLTP
  • 130 km/h and above: about 65–70% of WLTP

So a T10X rated at 523 km WLTP will cover roughly 370–400 km on a motorway trip at 120 km/h. If you stay within the 10–90% window rather than running below 10%, you're left with a practical leg of about 300 km between stops.

Winter: the biggest drop

In cold weather, the chemical reactions in a lithium-ion battery slow down, and cabin heating draws extra energy. The T10X's heat pump limits the loss but doesn't eliminate it. In practice:

  • 0 to 5 °C: roughly 15–25% less range
  • -5 °C and below, on the motorway: up to 30% less

That's why the Long Range is the more comfortable choice in winter in cold provinces like Erzurum, Kars or Sivas. In milder regions such as İzmir, Antalya and Muğla, the seasonal difference is far less noticeable.

Estimated real-world T10X range

The table below shows approximate real-world range under different conditions. These aren't official figures. They're estimates made by applying typical EV loss rates to the WLTP values.

ConditionsStandard Range (314 km WLTP)Long Range RWD (523 km WLTP)4MATIC (468 km WLTP)
Summer, city~300–330 km~500–550 km~440–480 km
Summer, mixed driving~270–300 km~450–490 km~400–440 km
Summer, motorway at 120 km/h~220–240 km~370–400 km~330–350 km
Winter, mixed driving~230–260 km~390–430 km~350–380 km
Winter, motorway at 120 km/h~190–210 km~320–350 km~280–310 km

Here's how to use the table for trip planning. In summer, a Long Range T10X can do Istanbul–Ankara (~450 km) on one charge or with a short stop. In winter, plan one DC charging stop on the way. The Standard Range needs at least one stop on the same route, and most likely two.

6 practical factors that affect range

  1. Speed: The single biggest factor. Driving at 110 km/h instead of 130 km/h can add around 15% to your range.
  2. Outside temperature: The sweet spot is 15–25 °C. Consumption rises in the cold and in extreme heat (A/C load).
  3. Wheel size: Bigger wheels mean more rolling resistance and aerodynamic loss. The difference is a few percent.
  4. Tyre pressure: Running below the recommended pressure raises consumption noticeably. Check it once a month.
  5. Pre-heating/pre-cooling: If you pre-heat the cabin from the app while the car is plugged in, the energy comes from the grid, not the battery you need for the drive.
  6. Load and roof accessories: A roof box can raise motorway consumption by 10–20%.

T10X charging times

Charging time matters just as much as range: how long does it take to fill the battery?

DC fast charging

Togg says the T10X charges from 20% to 80% in about 28 minutes on a DC fast charger. To hit that time:

  • The charger needs to deliver at least 150 kW. On a 60 kW unit, it takes noticeably longer.
  • The battery should be warm. In winter, set the charging station as your navigation destination and the car will precondition the battery on the way.
  • Above 80%, charging speed is deliberately reduced to protect the battery. On long trips, leaving at 80% and moving on is usually faster than waiting for 100%.

AC charging (home and car parks)

The T10X has an 11 kW onboard AC charger. Typical times:

  • Standard Range (52.4 kWh), 11 kW AC, 0–100%: ~5–6 hours
  • Long Range (88.5 kWh), 11 kW AC, 0–100%: ~8.5–9.5 hours
  • With 7.4 kW (single-phase) AC: about 50% longer

AC charging is ideal overnight, at work, or anywhere you park for hours, like a shopping centre. It's also the gentlest way to charge the battery.

What does 100 km cost in a T10X? (TRY breakdown)

The T10X uses about 17–19 kWh/100 km in mixed driving. In winter and on the motorway, that can climb to 22–25 kWh/100 km. We'll use an average of 18 kWh/100 km for the calculation.

Public charging prices in Turkey vary by operator. As an example, ADZE Charge's current rates are TRY 13.40/kWh for DC and TRY 9.40/kWh for AC:

Charging methodUnit price (example)Cost per 100 km (18 kWh)20→80% charge, Long Range (~53 kWh)
Public DC fast chargingTRY 13.40/kWh~TRY 241~TRY 710
Public AC chargingTRY 9.40/kWh~TRY 169~TRY 498
Home charging (residential tariff)Depends on tariffprice per kWh × 18price per kWh × 53

These figures cover energy only. Some stations charge an idle fee if the car stays plugged in after charging ends. Unplugging when charging is complete avoids this cost.

For comparison: a similar-sized SUV burning about 7 litres of petrol per 100 km usually costs more to run than even DC charging at current pump prices. The real savings come with AC and home charging. A T10X owner with regular daytime access to AC charging can bring their energy cost per kilometre down significantly.

Which T10X version is right for you?

  • 50–80 km a day, mostly in the city, with charging at home or work: Standard Range is enough. One or two AC charges a week will comfortably cover it.
  • Frequent intercity trips, a cold climate, or uncertain charging access at your apartment complex: Long Range RWD is the most balanced choice, and it has the longest range of any T10X.
  • Performance, all-wheel-drive grip on slippery roads, towing: 4MATIC. You give up some range, but acceleration and traction improve noticeably.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far does the T10X go on a full charge?

According to WLTP, the Standard Range (52.4 kWh) covers about 314 km, the rear-wheel-drive Long Range (88.5 kWh) about 523 km, and the all-wheel-drive 4MATIC about 468 km. In real-world use, expect about 85–95% of these figures in summer mixed driving, and 65–70% on the motorway in winter.

How much range does the T10X lose in winter?

Expect a loss of about 15–25% between 0 and 5 °C, and up to 30% on the motorway below -5 °C. The heat pump and pre-heating the cabin while plugged in reduce the loss. In winter mixed driving, the Long Range covers about 390–430 km.

How long does the T10X take to charge on DC?

According to Togg, about 28 minutes from 20% to 80%. That requires a charger delivering at least 150 kW and a warm battery. It takes longer on lower-powered chargers and with a cold battery.

How much does it cost to charge a T10X?

A 20% to 80% charge on the Long Range is about 53 kWh. That's roughly TRY 710 at a DC rate of TRY 13.40/kWh, or about TRY 498 at an AC rate of TRY 9.40/kWh. The cost per 100 km is about TRY 241 on DC and about TRY 169 on AC.

Conclusion

Two things stand out about T10X range. The Long Range RWD, at about 523 km WLTP, easily covers most daily and intercity driving in Turkey. The Standard Range is enough for city drivers with regular access to charging. Speed and temperature have the biggest effect on real-world range. Staying at 110–120 km/h on the motorway, pre-heating in winter and charging within the 20–80% window gives you the best range and the shortest charging times. When planning a trip, you can find DC and AC stations along your route in the ADZE Charge app.
