ADZE Charge
Three partnership models
MODEL 3

I have the site, let ADZE fund it

You just provide the area. Charger, build, electricity subscription, maintenance and operation are entirely ours. Without committing any capital, an unused area of yours starts producing income.

Who it suits

Shopping centres and supermarkets

A few square metres of your car park turn into a service that keeps customers in store longer.

Housing estates and residences

A service for your residents at no cost to the service charge, and steady income for the management.

Hotels and venues

Guests who drive electric choose the property that charges. It shapes the booking decision.

How the money reaches you

Collection, the electricity bill and every operating cost are ours. At month-end the electricity cost is deducted, your share of the remaining gross profit is calculated and paid into your account.

Driver pays by card

Charged as soon as the session ends

We pay the electricity bill

Subscription held by ADZE

Gross profit is calculated

Sales − electricity cost

Your share is paid

At the end of the following month

The collection risk is not yours

Because the charger is ours and so is the sale, uncollected sessions do not affect you. Your share is calculated on realised collection; chasing the shortfall is entirely our job. Beyond providing your area and waiting, you carry no obligation.

Your share is calculated on gross profit

Unlike the other two models, the share here is not on turnover but on the gross profit left after the electricity cost is deducted. Because we pay for the electricity, that cost comes off first and the remaining profit is shared.

This may or may not beat a lower percentage of turnover — it depends on the site's electricity tariff. After the survey we show both methods using your own figures.

OPTION

A charger that pays for itself

For those who have the area and want to make the investment themselves, there is another route: buying the charger on a lease. At a suitable location the revenue the charger produces can cover the lease instalment; what's left on top passes straight to you as profit. In that case you have moved to Model 1 and our share is calculated on turnover.

You don't tie up capital

A monthly instalment instead of paying up front. Your cash stays in your business.

Charger ownership is yours

When the lease ends the charger is entirely yours; the income continues.

We run the feasibility together

We calculate whether the revenue covers the instalment using your site's own figures — with no guarantee, as two scenarios.

We don't present this as a commitment

Whether the charger covers the instalment depends entirely on the location. Between our own sites, monthly sales differ by up to 20×. That is why we only give the figure after the survey, for your own site.

What your area earns you

Because you make no investment in this model there is no such thing as a «payback period» — you receive income from the first month. The real question is how much your area will earn.

BUSY LOCATION

From month 1

Areas with high daily traffic. The highest monthly settlement.

AVERAGE LOCATION

From month 1

Steady traffic. Settlement that grows over time.

WEAK LOCATION

We don't build

We won't install a charger; it would cost both of us.

Year 4

Payback in this model

Your settlement is calculated on gross profit after the electricity cost and rises as the site grows. Because you commit no capital the payback risk is not yours; you only allocate your area.

Electricity cost varies by region

We pay the bill, but the tariff directly affects the share base: the same sales leave a higher gross profit at a site on a cheaper tariff. We establish your site's tariff during the survey and show the settlement calculation on that basis.

Questions specific to this model

Do I really put in no money at all?

Yes. Charger, build, electricity subscription, maintenance and operation are entirely ours. You provide the area; the investment risk stays with us.

Who pays the electricity bill?

We do. That is why your share is calculated not on turnover but on the gross profit left after the electricity cost — the calculation is set out line by line above.

Would leasing and investing myself be more profitable?

It might be. At a suitable location the revenue the charger produces can cover the lease instalment and the profit on top passes to you. But that depends entirely on the location; we don't present it as a commitment, and after the survey we show two scenarios using your own figures.

What happens to the charger when the contract ends?

The charger is owned by ADZE. Renewal, transfer or removal options are defined in the contract from the outset; your area is restored to its original state.

If a customer doesn't pay, is my share affected?

No. Because the charger and the sale are ours, the collection risk is entirely ours. Your share is calculated on realised collection and chasing the shortfall is our job. This is the only one of the three models that carries no collection risk for you.
